We are seeking a team player hard worker, positive attitude, energetic, friendly, adaptable surgical assistant. Experience in the dental is required and Oral surgical experience is not a necessity but a plus. We are willing to train you to be the best. Must be eager to learn, to be trained and grow with our practice.
As a Surgical assistant must be able to perform a variety of surgical assisting duties, within compliance of state regulations, to promote quality dental care for patients in a professional, comfortable environment. Assists the doctor, teaches patients how to care for their teeth, Implants and surgical sites after procedures, communicates effectively with patients, maintains equipment and inventory per office protocols, and follows universal precautions and all OSHA requirements to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
DUTIES :
Take x-rays as needed
Prepare patients for diagnosis and treatment
Assist doctor during diagnosis and treatment
Perform post-operative patient care
Perform instrument sterilization and infection control in the office
Clean and stock operatories
Control inventory of clinical supplies
Be proficient in Electronic Records
Other duties as assigned
